Dialysis Clinic, Inc. seeks a Registered Dietitian to support our mission of individualized patient care. You will assess, monitor and educate patients and families on renal nutrition, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to design and adjust care plans.

This full-time role covers two clinics in Spearfish and Rapid City, with an 8:00 a.m. start, weekends off, and a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for training, mentorship and career growth.

Qualifikationen

• Must be a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist with Commission on Dietetic Registration.
• Minimum one year professional work experience in clinical nutrition as a registered dietitian (after successful completion of registration exam) required.
• Previous renal care experience preferred, not required.
• Job shadow opportunities available.

Aufgaben

• Assist patients with making diet and nutrition choices that improve their quality of life
• Complete comprehensive nutrition assessment for all new and at-risk patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on nutritional assessment; review monthly and document progress toward established goals
• Identify interventions necessary to meet nutritional needs based on guidelines and current research
• Educate patient and family/caregiver about renal diet and fluid management
• Monitor monthly laboratory results and weight changes, making recommendations to meet goals
• Utilize a patient-centered care approach respecting individual and cultural preferences
• Participate in Quality Assessment Performance Improvement process and attend meetings
• Create nutrition materials to promote adherence to renal diet guidelines
• Communicate nutrition concerns with care team, including attending physicians
• Share kidney disease and nutrition advances with care team as needed
