Job summary

MAC.BID in Spartanburg, SC is hiring a Removal Floater to support the customer pick-up process. This full-time hourly, non-exempt role reports to the Removal Team Lead and involves greeting customers, helping them locate items, and ensuring a smooth pickup experience.

REMOVAL FLOATER

JOB TYPE AND CLASSIFICATION: Full-Time Hourly Non-Exempt

JOB OVERVIEW:

MAC.BID buys truckloads of customer returns and overstock products, then sells these items individually to the public through online auctions. The Removal Floater assists in all the stages of customer pick-up. The entire removal team provides every winning bidder with exemplary service. This position reports to the Removal Team Lead.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Know how auction items are categorized on shelves
• Greet and assist customers in finding their items
• Make customers glad they have won an item, to encourage them to continue bidding
• Perform other tasks as assigned by management
• Scan customers in and out for item pick-ups

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Availability to work on-site Monday through Friday; Required Schedule: Monday/Wednesday/Friday: 10 AM - 6:30 PM & Tuesday/Thursday: 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM , 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute lunch break
• Must be able to lift 25 pounds alone, 50 pounds with a team lift
• Must be able to follow written directions and company policies
• Must be highly organized
• Must be detail-oriented
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Must be customer-focused
