Job summary

Center for Green Market Activation is seeking a Senior Associate/Associate to shape and implement the Heavy-Duty Trucking initiative within the GMA Trucking program. The role blends strategy development, market analysis, stakeholder coordination, and hands-on execution across multi-stakeholder decarbonization projects.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of experience in strategy consulting, advisory, policy analysis, or other project-based environments.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong analytical and research capabilities, with comfort handling quantitative and qualitative data.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote, entrepreneurial, highly collaborative team environment.
• Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, environmental studies, sustainability, supply chain, public policy, economics, or related field.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, or clean mobility sectors.
• Familiarity with corporate climate commitments or Scope 3 accounting.

Responsibilities

• Support strategy development and execution of GMA’s Heavy-Duty Trucking initiative.
• Conduct market, policy, and techno-economic analyses for zero-emission trucking.
• Design and implement procurement efforts including scoping and bid evaluations.
• Develop executive-ready materials and presentations with analytical rigor.
• Draft member communications and technical summaries for stakeholders.
• Coordinate with corporate members, onboarding, and workshops.
• Collaborate across internal teams to ensure alignment and delivery.
• Contribute to emissions, cost, and technical analyses including TCO and background research.
