Job summary

Responsibilities include processing claims, confirming coverage, establishing reserves, and communicating with clients and claimants. Bachelor’s degree and 1 year of experience are preferred, with an active WC license during employment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or combination of education and related experience.
• Minimum 1 year of industry experience and claims management preferred.
• Current license or certification in Workers’ Compensation must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Receives Workers’ Compensation claims and confirms policy coverage.
• Determines validity and compensability of claims.
• Establishes reserves and authorizes payments within limits.
• Manages non-complex lost-time claims under close supervision.
• Communicates claim status with customer, claimant and client.
• Adheres to guidelines and participates in reviews as needed.
• Assists other professionals with more complex claims.
• Performs additional projects and duties as assigned.
