Sedgwick is seeking a Loss-Time Workers Compensation Claims Examiner to analyze Lost-Time Workers’ compensation claims for clients, determine benefits, and adjudicate per service expectations. This is a US telecommuter role with a hybrid option if near Syracuse, NY.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification related to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims to determine exposure and resolve promptly.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and handling requests professionally.
