Sedgwick, a global leader in claims administration, is seeking a motivated Workers' Compensation Claims Examiner for NY jurisdiction.

In this hybrid role, you will analyze Lost-Time WC claims, negotiate settlements, and coordinate with claimants and clients to ensure timely resolutions.

Qualifications

• Five years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: NY.
• Licensing: NY.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims to timely resolution by gathering information and determining exposure.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to the excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
