Acrisure is seeking a Workers’ Compensation Claims Examiner to manage lost time workers’ compensation claims from assignment through resolution. This role requires handling multiple priorities, investigating claims, evaluating liability, and supporting resolution strategies.

Candidates should reside in the Greater Nashville area with a preference for on-site collaboration on a rotating schedule. A fast-paced environment and strong communication are essential to success.

Qualifications

• Requires workers’ compensation claims handling experience.
• Experience with lost time claims is beneficial.
• Exposure to litigation management and settlements is advantageous.
• Must reside in Tennessee and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage desk and caseload of workers’ compensation claims efficiently.
• Investigate claims including coverage, liability, and exposure analysis.
• Evaluate claim exposure and maintain accurate reserves.
• Coordinate with defense counsel on litigation as needed.
• Evaluate settlements and negotiate with claimants and attorneys.
• Monitor medical treatment and claim progression.
• Maintain organized claim documentation in the system.
• Ensure timely and accurate claim payments.
• Support compliant claim resolution strategies.
• Maintain communication with employers, workers, attorneys, and providers.
• Participate in required state workers’ compensation training.
