Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking an experienced Claims Examiner for Workers’ Compensation with NE jurisdiction experience. You will analyze claims, adjudicate benefits, and work within an energetic, supportive culture that emphasizes growth and inclusion.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.
• Licensing/Jurisdiction knowledge for NH, VT, MA, CT, RI, DC, DE, WV, VA.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing and processing claims through action plans to resolution by investigating information.
• Negotiating settlement within designated authority.
• Communicating claim activity with the claimant and client.
• Reporting claims to the excess carrier and responding to directions timely.
