Job summary

Sedgwick is seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers' Compensation to analyze and adjudicate claims for clients in a remote role across Southeast US jurisdictions. You will determine benefits due, investigate, and communicate with claimants and clients to ensure timely resolutions.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of claims management experience, licensing in FL or home state, and a strong grasp of jurisdictional requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and process claims through well-developed action plans to determine exposure and resolve.
• Negotiate settlement within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions in a professional and timely manner.
