Sedgwick, headquartered in Marlton, NJ, is seeking a Claims Examiner - Workers Compensation to adjudicate complex WC claims for our clients. This role offers a hybrid work model with 2 days in-office and 3 days remote for eligible candidates within 25 miles of Sedgwick offices, or fully remote otherwise.

• Education: HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• Licensing: Home state preferred.
• Jurisdiction knowledge: MD and NJ.

Responsibilities

• Analyze workers' compensation claims to determine benefits due.
• Adjudicate complex claims and follow established action plans.
• Negotiate settlements within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity to claimant and client.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to directions promptly.
