Required: 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent; High School Diploma or GED; Bachelor’s degree preferred and professional certification as applicable.

Qualifications

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent.
• High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process low level workers' compensation claims to determine benefits and maintain adjudication within standards.
• Develop action plans for return-to-work and approve claim payments.
• Administer subrogation and negotiate settlements.
• Communicate claim actions with claimants and clients.
• Ensure proper documentation and correct claims coding.
• May process low-level lifetime medical or defined period medical claims.
