Job summary

The University of the Cumberlands seeks a Workday Student Financial Systems Specialist to configure, develop, and support Workday functionality and integrations for Student Financials, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, and related processes.

Under the Manager of Enterprise Applications and Development, you will coordinate with campus stakeholders, maintain integrations, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to testing and documentation. This is remote with occasional travel to Williamsburg, KY.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a computing discipline or demonstrated equivalent experience as an integration developer.
• Experience with Workday configuration, business processes, and integrations (Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, Core Connectors).
• Experience supporting Workday Student, Student Financials, Student Accounts, Financial Aid, or similar systems.
• Experience developing API-based integrations.
• Knowledge of software engineering, integration architecture, and SDLC.
• Understanding of information security and secure data exchange.
• Ability to work independently and with others, manage multiple priorities.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Workday integrations using Studio, EIB, Orchestrate, Core Connectors, SOAP/REST.
• Configure, support, and enhance Workday functionality for Student Financials, Student Accounts, Financial Aid.
• Support and maintain existing Student Financial integrations, including error resolution and testing.
• Partner with stakeholders to translate needs into Workday configurations and processes.
• Use SQL and database tech to support integration development and data analysis.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Workday configuration and integrations; coordinate resolution with teams.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for Workday configurations, integrations, and data exchanges.
• Apply information security practices to protect university information.
• Communicate issues and changes to management and teams.
• Research Workday releases and emerging technologies relevant to responsibilities.
