Job summary

Fyerx seeks a Workday Data Conversion / Data Migration Specialist to lead extraction, mapping, transformation, and load sequences of legacy records into the Workday platform.

You will design automated ETL pipelines, manage high-volume data validation, and orchestrate iterative loading sweeps to ensure data integrity during enterprise deployments across HR, payroll, and financial domains. This is a remote offshore contract role with emphasis on data privacy and quality.

Qualifications

• 4 to 8 years of core database engineering or enterprise data migration experience.
• 4+ dedicated years deploying conversion scripts for the Workday cloud.
• Strong mastery of advanced data transformation platforms, SQL, XML, and macros.
• Mandatory certification: Workday Certified Core Human Capital Management.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and optimize automated ETL pipelines to extract, clean, and transform legacy HR, payroll, and financial data into Workday-compatible file configurations.
• Map intricate source database components directly into standard Workday object structures, ensuring alignment with target data definitions and object hierarchies.
• Execute high-volume multi-object staging routines utilizing standard deployment loading utilities and enterprise interface builders (EIBs).
• Build custom validation tracking logs, scripting automated record-count reconciliations and delta checks to identify data issues before go-live.
• Orchestrate iterative trial data conversions (Gold, Silver, Bronze builds) inside sandbox tenants to isolate bottlenecks and tune runbooks.
• Enforce data privacy guidelines, applying masking and security routines to protect PII during extraction cycles.
