Job summary

Reqroute, Inc. is seeking an experienced VMware/Windows Infrastructure Solution Architect to design and manage enterprise on-premises and cloud infrastructure solutions.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of the financial services industry and enterprise IT environments.
• Strong understanding of infrastructure technologies, including networking, computing platforms, Windows servers, VMware, storage, databases, security, middleware, and systems management.
• Experience designing and architecting private cloud, virtualization, and on-premises infrastructure solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead infrastructure analysis and solution design for application onboarding, greenfield implementations, and migration initiatives.
• Drive infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, and technology assessments based on application and business requirements.
• Partner with engineering and operations teams to evaluate feasibility, complexity, scope, and technical requirements of new capabilities and solutions.
• Collaborate with architecture and infrastructure delivery teams to ensure consistent solution design, integration, and implementation.
• Define technology roadmaps and infrastructure strategies aligned with business application roadmaps.
• Ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives, service-level requirements, IT strategies, and architectural design standards.
• Provide technical leadership and ownership across infrastructure solution delivery.
• Develop and maintain architecture principles, standards, technical position papers, blueprints, best practices, design patterns, and frameworks.
• Communicate infrastructure architecture, design decisions, and technical recommendations to both business and technical stakeholders.
• Evaluate architectural alternatives and recommend appropriate solutions based on scalability, performance, availability, cost, and operational requirements.
