Piper Companies is seeking a Windows Endpoint Engineer in RTP to join a growing defense and regulated technology organization. The role focuses on managing enterprise endpoint infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments while driving modernization, security enhancements, and end-user computing strategies.

The engineer will work hands-on with Windows infrastructure, Cloud PC environments, and Thin Client solutions, partnering with stakeholders to deliver secure and efficient endpoint

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows systems and desktop infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, Windows 365 Cloud PC, and lifecycle management.
• Experience managing security vulnerabilities, OS upgrades, and endpoint hardening.
• Ability to gather business requirements and partner with stakeholders to develop end-user computing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows infrastructure across on-premises environments.
• Manage and enhance Cloud PC environments and modernization efforts.
• Evaluate Thin Client solutions and gather requirements for secure user environments.
• Lead endpoint management using Intune, MECM/SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, and related cloud tech.
• Collaborate with security, infrastructure, and operations teams to strengthen endpoint protection and user experience.
