Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Windows Endpoint Engineer in RTP to join a growing defense and regulated technology team. The role focuses on managing enterprise endpoint infrastructure across on‑prem and cloud environments, driving modernization, security improvements, and end-user computing strategies.

The engineer will collaborate with stakeholders to improve endpoint performance, security posture, and virtual workspace solutions across the organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience supporting enterprise Windows systems.
• Experience with Intune, MECM/SCCM, AVD, and Windows 365 Cloud PC.
• Proven ability to gather business requirements and deliver end-user computing solutions.
• Experience patching, vulnerability remediation, OS upgrades, and endpoint hardening.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support enterprise Windows infrastructure, including patching and maintenance across on-premises environments.
• Manage and enhance Cloud PC environments with lifecycle management and security improvements.
• Partner with stakeholders to evaluate Thin Client solutions and drive secure user environments.
• Lead endpoint management initiatives leveraging Microsoft Intune, MECM/SCCM, Azure Virtual Desktop, and related cloud technologies.
• Collaborate with security and operations teams to strengthen endpoint protection and user experience.
