The Sierra Club seeks an Advancement Director for the West to lead major gift fundraising and donor engagement. This remote role prefers candidates in the Pacific Northwest and requires travel across the region and beyond.

You will cultivate and solicit donors, manage a portfolio, and collaborate with senior leaders to advance campaigns with gifts of $25,000 and more. A flexible, mission-driven environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience in development and major gift fundraising.
• Proven ability to build a portfolio of prospects and grow revenue.
• Knowledge of fundraising best practices and campaign planning.
• Experience soliciting six-figure gifts and above.
• Ability to collaborate with leadership and Advancement teams.

Responsabilités

• Manages a high-potential donor portfolio with cultivation and solicitation.
• Engages donors through meetings, calls, video, and written communications.
• Solicits gifts of $25,000+ to meet revenue goals.
• Develops strategies with senior staff to identify and pursue new prospects.
• Maintains donor database and accurate records of interactions.
