Job summary

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Well-being Coach I to join our Wellbeing Coaching department. This role provides phone-based coaching, education and support to members utilizing coaching programs.

This position includes providing supportive accountability to members around the member's health-related goals and developing a plan with members to reach those goals and sustain lasting behavioral changes gained through participation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g. psychology, health education, exercise science, nutrition) required.
• Additional job-related certifications a plus.
• Coaching experience a plus.
• Ability to create and sustain a supportive member-focused environment for behavior change.
• Ability to tailor coaching and support services to diverse customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide phone, video, and/or chat coaching and education to enrolled members.
• Schedule coaching sessions to meet productivity expectations and program standards.
• Set health-related goals and develop strategies to achieve them.
• Create and sustain a supportive environment for behavior change.
• Document member goals, outcomes, and administrative details in electronic systems.
• Maintain confidential records and respond to member questions during coaching sessions.
