Job summary

CareMed Health Solutions seeks a Nurse Practitioner for a remote telemedicine role serving residents of long-term care facilities. You will provide primary and preventive care, manage acute changes, and collaborate with on-site staff to support care plans.

The ideal candidate holds an unrestricted NP license in KY, OH, or PA, board certification, DEA licensure, and experience with EMR and geriatric care in an interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Current, unrestricted NP license in Kentucky, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
• Board Certification.
• DEA licensure.
• Clinical background in adult, family, or geriatric specialties.
• Experience working in a long-term care setting.
• Ability to work with an EMR.
• Ability to work within an interdisciplinary care team to coordinate patient care.

Responsibilities

• Provide primary and preventive care for long-term care patients.
• Manage residents with acute changes in condition.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with state law.
• Order, review, and follow up on treatments and diagnostics.
• Communicate with nursing home staff regarding changes in condition.

Education

NP license (Current, unrestricted)
