Job summary

Foundry for Good is seeking a versatile Website Developer & Designer to build, customize, and maintain sites for Nexus Marketing’s clients and Foundry for Good’s brands. This is primarily a building role with a strong design sensibility, taking a project from mockups to a polished live site.

You’ll own website creation, theme customization, and ongoing maintenance on WordPress and Webflow, with a path to grow in the other platform. HTML/CSS tweaks and SEO-minded performance are essential.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of website development and design experience.
• Exceptional English verbal and written communication skills.
• Degree in Web Development, Design, Computer Science, Multimedia Arts, or a related field.
• Deep expertise in WordPress or Webflow with willingness to grow across both.
• Strong portfolio of polished, responsive websites.
• Solid HTML/CSS skills; JavaScript familiarity is a plus.
• Experience translating mockups/brand guidelines into high-quality sites.
• Ability to manage multiple builds and maintenance across many sites.

Responsibilities

• Build new websites from scratch from designer mockups or brand guidelines on WordPress and/or Webflow.
• Customize themes, templates, and layouts to match brand and design direction.
• Own ongoing website maintenance: updates, security, backups, performance, bug fixes, content updates.
• Translate designs into clean, responsive websites with SEO-minded performance.
• Build with Core Web Vitals and mobile responsiveness in mind.
• Manage multiple sites across Nexus clients and Foundry for Good brands.
• Troubleshoot and resolve site issues quickly and reliably.
• Join client calls to present work and gather direction.
• Collaborate with designers, marketers, and account managers to meet client goals.
• Maintain organized project files and asset libraries.
