Job summary

Square Waves is seeking a Webflow Website Designer to plan, build, and launch high-quality websites for B2B clients. You will own projects from concept to launch, defining architecture, style, and user experience, while collaborating with clients and internal teams to ensure successful delivery.

The role emphasizes responsive design, accessibility, and SEO fundamentals, with opportunities to grow in a fast-moving digital agency.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of professional Website design/build experience.
• Proficiency in Webflow (CMS, Interactions, Class Systems, Launch Workflow).
• Experience mapping information architecture, creating wireframes, and building client-ready site maps.
• Understanding of DNS/domain management and how to update or troubleshoot records.
• Working knowledge of SEO fundamentals and basic analytics.
• Experience with automation/integration tools like Zapier or Make.
• Familiarity connecting Webflow forms/sites to CRMs or marketing systems.
• Excellent design sensibility with high-quality, on-brand visuals.
• Strong communication and client collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible, conversion-focused websites in Webflow with best-practice naming and structure.
• Create sitemaps and wireframes in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Present design directions and visual style options to clients and adapt based on feedback.
• Translate designs into production-ready Webflow builds with reusable components and strong attention to detail.
• Implement Webflow Interactions and animations that enhance UX and match brand tone.
• Manage DNS configurations and ensure launches do not disrupt other services.
• Handle launches, redirects, and basic SEO structure; implement 301 redirects where needed.
• Collaborate with clients and internal teams through discovery, design, development, and post-launch.
• Document build structures and launch notes for maintenance and handoffs.
• Monitor site performance and suggest optimization opportunities.
