Square Waves is looking for a Webflow Website Designer to plan, build, and launch top-tier websites, collaborating with clients to define architecture, style, and UX. You’ll handle everything from initial mockups and information architecture to SEO strategy and CMS structure, delivering visually refined and technically robust sites.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of professional experience designing and building websites.
• Proficiency in Webflow (CMS, Interactions, Class Systems, and Launch Workflow).
• Experience mapping information architecture, creating wireframes, and building client-ready site maps.
• Understanding of DNS, domain management, and how to safely update or troubleshoot records.
• Working knowledge of SEO tools and fundamentals.
• Experience with automation/integration tools like Zapier or Make.
• Familiarity with connecting Webflow forms and sites to CRMs or marketing systems.
• Excellent design sensibility with proven on-brand visuals.
• Strong communication and client collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive, accessible websites in Webflow using best-practice class naming and structure.
• Create sitemaps and wireframes in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Present design directions and visual style options to clients and adapt based on feedback.
• Translate designs into production-ready Webflow builds with attention to detail and reusable components.
• Implement Webflow Interactions and Animations that match brand tone.
• Manage DNS configurations — connect domains, swap records, troubleshoot launches.
• Handle launches, redirects, and SEO fundamentals including 301 redirects and basic SEO structure.
• Document build structures and launch notes for handoffs and maintenance.
