Job summary

Vestis seeks a Web Developer to design, build and maintain applications across platforms, focusing on WordPress, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP and JavaScript. The role reports to the IT Director and requires strong collaboration with designers, PMs and other developers.

You will ensure cross-browser compatibility, responsive design, and performance optimization, while supporting governance and compliance efforts and driving continuous process improvements across the company's technology stack.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or six plus years relevant experience.
• Proven ability to take insights and turn them into actionable steps that can drive business value.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts verbally and in writing to colleagues with varying degrees of analytical knowledge and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and optimize dynamic websites and web applications using WordPress, Angular, Node.js, GraphQL, PHP and JavaScript
• Integrate Restful and GraphQL APIs into web applications.
• Collaborate with designers, project managers, and other developers to deliver high-quality solutions on time
• Manage, troubleshoot and optimize performance for existing web applications.
• Ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsive design across devices
• Supporting the goals of the company’s technological alignment efforts
• Seeking out and implementing continuous process improvement opportunities
• Supporting internal communications related to business improvements and processes, system upgrades, and enhancements
• Build and sustain working relationships with all AUS functional areas
• Ensuring accurate and efficient governance policy development and adherence
• Report on statuses when requested
• Submit all time and expense reporting procedures accurately and timely
• Maintain good standing and completion on all compliance related matters (i.e., assigned mandatory trainings, actions required from audits, corporate policies, etc.)
• Perform all additional duties and responsibilities based on the direction and guidance of supervisor
