Job summary

Inframark is seeking a Water/Wastewater Project Engineer to design and deliver treatment systems from concept through commissioning. You will work on municipal and industrial facilities, collaborating with operations teams, regulators, and clients to craft engineering solutions that meet current needs and future challenges.

You will design, model, and optimize treatment processes, create PFDs and P&IDs, and support permitting and project execution.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Agricultural, or Chemical Engineering (ABET-accredited preferred).
Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification at minimum; actively working toward PE license.
1–3 years of water/wastewater engineering design, environmental compliance, or related field.
AutoCAD (2D drafting), Microsoft Office; familiarity with ArcGIS or mapping tools.

Responsibilities

Design water and wastewater treatment systems from concept through commissioning.
Develop plans, specifications, and calculations for plant upgrades and new construction.
Create AutoCAD drawings including PFDs, P&IDs, site plans, and construction details.
Perform hydraulic modeling and calculations to optimize performance.
Navigate EPA and state regulations; prepare permits and compliance documents.
Support project management: scope, schedule, budgeting, and QC.
Prepare proposals and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
Provide commissioning support during startup.
