Job summary

Chem-Aqua, the water treatment subsidiary of NCH Corporation, is seeking a Water Treatment Account Manager. This field-based position services boiler and cooling water systems for our existing customers, performing testing, monitoring, calibration and inspections.

This is a remote position. The ideal candidate is highly motivated, organized, with knowledge of water treatment, able to travel up to 20%, and able to build strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Willingness to travel up to 20% (no overnight travel)
• Experience in water treatment or related industry preferred
• Strong relationship-building and communication skills
• Highly organized with strong follow-through
• Proficient with MS Office

Responsibilities

• Perform assigned water testing and sampling
• Communicate, record, and maintain information regarding treatment operations
• Schedule service and sales calls, including daily, weekly and monthly reporting
• Accurately report service calls
• Diagnose water treatment equipment and systems (reverse osmosis, water softeners, etc.)
• Determine system condition, identify malfunctions, and take corrective actions
• Provide routine maintenance: inspection, cleaning, calibration
• Identify additional service needs and develop customized solutions
• Maintain customer chemical inventory
• Other duties as assigned
