Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service (TEEX) seeks an Agency Instructor I - Water Program (Telecommuter) in Bryan, TX. The role involves online or classroom instruction, field-based training, and curriculum updates under the Infrastructure Training and Safety Institute.

A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus several years’ water-system experience and teaching credentials, are required. The position offers a monthly salary of $5,833.34, works as a full-time telecommuter, and reports to the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Three years of experience in operation, maintenance, design, construction, or regulation of water utility systems.
• One year of experience in training adults.
• Must have a valid motor vehicle operator's license or ability to obtain within 30 days.
• Texas Class "B" Water license.
• Texas Class "B" Wastewater license, or Wastewater Collection II or III.
• 60 hours of classroom instructional experience OR completion of approved Instructor training courses.

Responsibilities

• Assist in training various specialty skilled and/or semi-skilled courses within a program.
• Conduct online and/or classroom instruction and field-based skills training.
• Provide technical assistance and use media to present course material.
• Assist in creating or updating curriculum content to meet learner needs.
• Maintain technical competence and report to the Training Manager.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent

Three years of water utility experience

One year of adult training experience

Valid driver's license

Texas Class "B" Water license

Texas Class "B" Wastewater license or Wastewater Collection II/III
