Job summary

VAER is seeking a Watch Assembly Technician to join our US production team. This remote bench position focuses on watch assembly, casing, component inspection, and final quality control. The technician receives production kits containing movements and components to assemble complete watches.

Experience in watch assembly or precision bench work is preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude, manual dexterity, high accuracy, and meticulous attention to detail are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in watch assembly, casing, watchmaking, or similar precision bench work preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and manual dexterity.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with small and delicate watch components.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and case quartz, solar quartz, meca quartz, and automatic watches.
• Inspect incoming cases, dials, hands, movements, and other components for defects before assembly.
• Perform final quality control including hand alignment, date alignment, function checks, cosmetic inspection, and final cleaning.
• Maintain accurate component counts and keep production batches organized and separated.
• Document and communicate component defects and recurring assembly issues.
• Maintain a clean, organized bench and accurate production records.
• Work directly with the VAER production and quality teams to improve assembly and QC procedures.
