Job summary

CITGO Petroleum Corporation is seeking an Environmental Waste and Wastewater Compliance Coordinator to ensure adherence to federal, state, and local regulations while maintaining safety and environmental stewardship at the Lake Charles refinery.

Responsibilities include coordinating waste management activities, preparing regulatory reports, identifying recycling opportunities, and training refinery personnel and contractors to uphold compliance programs.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree plus minimum of five years job-related experience required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Office programs.
• Refinery/chemical plant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate waste container management and regulatory compliance for the refinery.
• Prepare waste profiles, collect samples, determine disposal methods and recycling opportunities.
• Manage waste shipments, manifests and LDR documents to approved TSDFs.
• Develop and maintain waste management procedures and provide training to staff and contractors.
