Job summary

Kinect Solar is seeking a highly organized Warehouse Specialist to optimize our warehouse network by managing vendor relationships, maintaining quality standards, and driving inventory control efficiency. The role is remote with occasional travel to project kickoffs, warehouses, HQ, or conferences.

You will source and onboard vendors, monitor performance, conduct audits for OSHA compliance, perform inventory audits, and support sales with product knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum a year of experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Proven vendor management, negotiation, and compliance.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and quality standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Understanding of square footage and warehouse capacity.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality results.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Sourcing and Onboarding: Identify and evaluate potential warehouse vendors based on cost, capacity, location, and service capabilities.
• Vendor Management and Compliance: Monitor vendor performance against KPIs and address deficiencies; conduct audits for OSHA compliance.
• Inventory Management and Audits: Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
• Customer Service: Provide exceptional service to internal and external stakeholders; address inquiries and disputes.
• Sales Support: Assist sales with strategy, technical support, and participation in industry events.
