Job summary

Phoenix Cyber is seeking a Vulnerability Analyst to join our client delivery team in a remote role. You will provide technical leadership in vulnerability threat management, develop remediation actions, and prioritize risks.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure regulatory compliance, stay ahead of threats, and support incident response as part of a growing security operations program. Required: Bachelor's degree, 3 years in security, certs, and ability to obtain government

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• Three years of experience in security.
• Experience in handling incident response.
• CompTIA Security+ or CISSP.
• Ability to obtain a government clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and oversight to vulnerability threat management activities and initiatives.
• Develop and implement strategies to manage and remediate vulnerabilities and threats to the systems and infrastructure.
• Conduct vulnerability and threat assessments identifying and prioritizing vulnerabilities based on risk.
• Develop and implement vulnerability and threat remediation actions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
• Research latest trends and threats in Vulnerability Management and/or Attack Surface Management.
• Provide vulnerability and threat analysis management guidance and SME support to teams and stakeholders.
