Job summary

Travere Therapeutics is seeking a Vice President, Regulatory Strategy Diligence to lead the Regulatory Due Diligence team and assess clinical and commercial assets for external business development. The role covers licensing, acquisition, and partnerships, with a focus on regulatory risk and mitigation across development paths and readiness for external transactions.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in pharmaceutical sciences, biological sciences, engineering, chemistry, chemical engineering, or related scientific discipline required. Equivalent combination of education and applicable job experience may be considered.
• 15+ years in pharmaceutical/biotech with regulatory and business development focus including clinical, manufacturing and technical operations.
• 8 years of people management and leadership experience.
• Experience interacting with executive leadership in biotech/pharma.
• Experience with both biologics and small molecule development and commercialization.

Responsibilities

• Lead regulatory due diligence for licensing, acquisition, partnership, and external innovation opportunities.
• Evaluate regulatory development across product development, pediatrics, regulatory strategies, agency feedback, risks and mitigations.
• Own integrated regulatory risk assessment and recommendations for opportunities.
• Review regulatory aspects of CRO/CMO capabilities, capacity, compliance history, and readiness to support supply.
• Prepare diligence reports, risk registers, executive presentations, and post-transaction recommendations.
