Jobgether seeks a VP of Software Engineering based in the United States to lead a fast-growing engineering organization serving the defense and national security ecosystem. You will own technical vision, delivery under government contracts, and an enterprise AI strategy while reporting to the CEO on the executive team.

You will shape technology direction, drive AI adoption, manage staffing and investments, and collaborate with government customers, operations, growth, finance, and cybersecurity

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering leadership experience.
• Experience leading software delivery for U.S. government customers and understanding federal procurement, security, compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and scale the software engineering organization with accountability for delivery, quality, security, reliability, and customer outcomes.
• Define an engineering operating model moving from project-based to outcome-based delivery with clear intake, prioritization, metrics, and cadence.
• Build a high-performing team through strategic hiring, development, coaching, and retention.
