Job summary

Jobot is seeking a VP-level operations leader for a remote-based role with ~50% travel across the Midwest footprint. You will oversee the platform across divisions, diagnose root causes, and drive performance improvements in a PE-backed MEP contractor environment.

You will partner with local leaders, standardize processes, and bring hands-on leadership to high-growth, multi-site operations while traveling to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have VP or above level experience within an MEP contractor/construction firm.
• Extensive multisite operations leadership in HVAC, mechanical, MEP or skilled-trades businesses.
• Experience integrating and standardizing acquired or multi-location businesses.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, private equity-backed environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the go-to operations leader across all divisions, partnering with division leaders.
• Diagnose operational challenges, identify root causes, and lead lasting fixes.
• Prioritize divisions/locations with the greatest improvement opportunities.
• Standardize and strengthen operating processes across a multi-site footprint.
• Bring structure and discipline to recently acquired businesses.
• Operate strategically while staying hands-on and close to the field.
