Job summary

New York Life Insurance Co is seeking an experienced Corporate Vice President, Advanced Planning Consultant for the Northeast Zone. This fully remote role focuses on designing advanced planning solutions for agents and clients, including estate, business, charitable, and retirement strategies.

You will support field leadership through one-on-one case consultations and training, enabling growth in life insurance solutions across the Northeast.

Qualifications

• JD strongly preferred with estate and tax law focus.
• Deep expertise in advanced planning topics including estate, business succession, charitable giving, and retirement income strategies.
• Proven ability to present complex legal and financial concepts clearly to clients and management.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, strong presentation skills, and a consultative approach.
• Demonstrated strength in relationship management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Willingness and ability to travel 50% within the Northeast Zone.

Responsibilities

• Partner with agents and office leadership to deliver one-on-one case consultations and implement advanced planning strategies.
• Provide responsive support via in-person meetings, Zoom, and phone consultations to agents and management.
• Serve as a technical expert on tax, legal, and financial aspects of advanced planning for product solutions.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to promote advanced markets initiatives driving life insurance sales.
• Create clear marketing, training, and educational materials for agents and clients.
• Represent the Advanced Planning Group as a trusted resource across the territory.
