We are seeking a volunteer WordPress Developer to build and maintain templates, components, integrations, forms, performance, and technical quality for iLevelUP web properties.

Responsibilities Develop and maintain themes, child themes, plugins, blocks, templates, and reusable componentsImplement responsive, accessible designs and approved content modelsIntegrate forms, analytics, CRM, email, search, and other approved servicesImprove performance, Core Web Vitals, security, backups, updates, and reliabilityTroubleshoot defects, compatibility issues, and technical debtUse staging, source control, testing, code review, and documented deployment proceduresSupport structured data, redirects, metadata, and technical SEOCollaborate with design, content, accessibility, SEO, security, and marketing teams

Qualifications Experience developing and maintaining production WordPress sitesProficiency with PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, WordPress APIs, and databasesFamiliarity with accessibility, responsive design, Git, performance, security, and staging workflowsStrong debugging, documentation, and remote collaborationEducation, nonprofit, or multi-site WordPress experience is helpfulThis is a remote, recurring volunteer role available within the United States. Expect approximately 4–8 hours per month.
