Job summary

IMS Legal Strategies, LLC hires a Vocational Consultant to conduct assessments and employability evaluations across various legal matters. You will prepare reports, testify when needed, and support senior staff with labor market analyses and vocational research.

The role supports the Director of Vocational Services and requires collaboration with attorneys, insurers, and clients. 100% remote with travel for meetings and evaluations across the East and West Coasts.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of vocational assessments, case management, and job placement.
• Experience providing vocational expert testimony is strongly preferred.
• Ability to administer, score, and interpret vocational testing (achievement, aptitude, intelligence).
• Proficiency with transferable skills analysis software.

Responsibilities

• Strategize cases with referral sources and provide expert testimony.
• Review records (medical, educational, employment, earnings).
• Conduct in-person, telephonic, or virtual vocational interviews.
• Prepare timely written reports communicating vocational findings and opinions.
• Provide vocational case management services to injured workers, including job placement and return‑to‑work coordination.
