Job summary

Context Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced VMware Architect to shape a large-scale private cloud and managed services environment. The role focuses on VMware Cloud Foundation, governance, and platform engineering with close collaboration across engineering, operations and product teams.

The ideal candidate will lead architecture standards, drive multi-tenant designs, and contribute to roadmaps while guiding implementation of cloud platforms and Kubernetes integrations.

Qualifications

• Experience with VMware and private cloud technologies, plus modern platform engineering practices.
• Strong background in architecture design and governance for large cloud platforms.
• Ability to influence technology strategy and define architecture standards.

Responsibilities

• Defining target architectures, technical standards and reference designs.
• Designing VMware Cloud Foundation environments (vSphere, vSAN, NSX).
• Shaping multi-tenant private cloud platforms and managed service architectures.
• Providing governance, design authority and architectural assurance.
• Supporting Kubernetes, automation and self-service provisioning.
• Collaborating with engineering teams to ensure designs are delivered.
• Contributing to roadmaps and platform strategy.
• Leading technical workshops and stakeholder discussions.
