Job summary

Cognizant's Global Design Studio is seeking a Visual Designer to craft compelling visuals for digital, social, and print while ensuring brand consistency across campaigns.

The ideal candidate will bring 1–3 years of design experience, a strong portfolio, and proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, with familiarity in PowerPoint and Figma. This remote US role offers growth, collaboration, and exposure to AI-assisted workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional design experience, including internship, agency, or in-house.
• A strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.
• Understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and layout design.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly.
• A strong sense of ownership and a desire to create meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual assets for digital, social, web, presentations, email campaigns, print, and marketing communications.
• Apply Cognizant brand guidelines consistently and support campaign assets from concept through final execution.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, marketers, creative leads, and project stakeholders to develop engaging creative solutions.
• Support image selection, layout design, typography, visual storytelling, and the preparation and optimization of files for digital and print production.
• Use AI-enabled creative tools to support ideation, content generation, and design workflows while maintaining brand quality standards.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and creative reviews, participate in design critiques, and continuously develop creative and technical skills.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
