Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Visual Designer to create compelling visual content across digital, social, web, and print channels. You will be part of the Global Design Studio, collaborating with designers, copywriters, marketers, and stakeholders to develop engaging creative solutions.

The role emphasizes visual storytelling, brand design, and exploring AI-powered tools within a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Remote work within the United States is supported.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Digital Design, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of professional design experience (internship, agency, or in-house).
• Strong portfolio demonstrating design fundamentals, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Understanding of typography, composition, color theory, and layout design.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to accept feedback and iterate quickly.
• Ownership mindset and desire to create meaningful outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality visual assets for digital, social, web, presentations, email campaigns, print, and marketing communications.
• Apply Cognizant brand guidelines consistently and support campaign assets from concept through final execution.
• Collaborate with designers, copywriters, marketers, creative leads, and project stakeholders to develop engaging creative solutions.
• Support image selection, layout design, typography, visual storytelling, and preparation/optimization of files for digital and print production.
• Use AI-enabled creative tools to support ideation, content generation, and design workflows while maintaining brand quality standards.
• Contribute ideas during brainstorming sessions and creative reviews, participate in design critiques, and continuously develop skills.
• Manage multiple assignments simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
