Job summary

VG Systems, LLC is seeking a mid-level Visual Communications Designer/Specialist to support a federal government customer. The role focuses on translating complex IT concepts into clear visuals, infographics, and communications that drive enterprise adoption of agile practices.

You will contribute creatively within a small team and grow in a collaborative, idea-nurturing environment. The position offers primarily remote work with occasional onsite support in Washington, DC, about 1–2 times per

Qualifications

5+ years of visual or graphic design experience, preferably in government or corporate settings.
2+ years developing IT-related communications strategies/materials.
Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related field, or 4 additional years of professional experience.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement visual communication strategies for transformation objectives.
Create graphical content for infographics, websites, videos, and presentations.
Collaborate with internal teams to gather information and insights to inform design strategies and messaging.
Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and target audience members within the organization.
Work with Project Manager and Technical Lead to turn IT concepts into clear communication materials.
Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts and provide regular reports and insights to leadership.
