Role Overview
Videographer/Video Editor responsible for crafting captivating marketing videos that tell compelling stories to promote health and wellness products, mainly through social platforms like Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio demonstrating excellent visual aesthetics and the ability to create engaging videos, motion graphics, and animations. This role requires attention to detail, initiative, collaboration, effective communication, multitasking, and meeting deadlines. A passion for pet food, wellness, beauty, and health is a plus.
Responsibilities in this Role:
- Edit raw footage into polished videos with seamless narrative flow, high-quality visuals, and professional sound using in-house and stock assets as well as original content.
- Collaborate with Story Producers and team members to understand project requirements and ensure the final product meets objectives.
- Utilize industry-standard software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, DaVinci Resolve, and others to produce high-quality videos.
- Stay updated with current trends in video editing, storytelling, and thumbnail design to bring fresh ideas.
- Review and refine videos to meet technical and creative standards, ensuring error-free delivery.
- Manage multiple projects efficiently, meeting deadlines without sacrificing quality.
- Analyze backend data, consider optimizations, and bring creative ideas to life through archival or new footage.
Required Qualifications/Experience:
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- Experience with commercial cameras and equipment.
- Knowledge of color grading, multi-cam editing, and basic audio mixing.
- Ability to collaborate and contribute creative ideas.
- Work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Creative, innovative editing skills that bring visuals to life.
- Attention to detail, strong composition, and aesthetic sense.
- Bachelor’s Degree in film production or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years shooting and editing in a production environment; 4+ years preferred.
