Job summary

Motive is seeking a Video Editor & Motion Designer for Brand Studio to shape how the brand appears in motion. You will turn ideas, footage, scripts, sound, and motion graphics into compelling stories across campaigns, social, web, and events, balancing editorial craft with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in video editing and motion design.
• Portfolio demonstrating storytelling and motion craft.
• Proficient in Premiere Pro; strong After Effects skills.
• Experience with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Understanding of brand systems and visual standards.
• Excellent communication and fast-paced decision-making.
• Videography or on-set experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own video and motion projects end to end from intake to post-launch iteration.
• Edit high-quality video content for brand campaigns, paid media, social, web, events, and storytelling.
• Create and integrate motion graphics, typography, animation to elevate brand in motion.
• Translate briefs and feedback into clear editorial decisions to improve quality and effectiveness.
• Manage multiple priorities and timelines while maintaining high craft and on-brand execution.
• Build strong relationships with adjacent teams and act as trusted creative partner.
• Evaluate and develop AI-assisted workflows for scripting, footage exploration, versioning, and post-production.
