The role

Jon produces high-quality videos that combine cinematic visuals, straightforward storytelling, motion graphics, and retention tactics to deliver useful travel information efficiently.

Edit 1-2 videos per month, each ranging from 15-25 minutes. Your task will be to craft compelling NYC, travel, and lifestyle content that is both informative and concise. You will need to balance beautiful visuals with strategic editing techniques to maximize information delivery and viewer engagement.

Responsibilities include

• Editing engaging NYC, travel, and lifestyle videos
• Incorporating storytelling, motion graphics, and retention strategies
• Working with voiceovers, B-roll, and music
• Applying color grading and sound design techniques
• Collaborating with Jon and his creative team
• Meeting deadlines for 1-2 videos monthly

Ideal candidate will have

• Experience editing YouTube content, especially in travel or lifestyle niches
• Strong storytelling skills emphasizing efficiency and information delivery
• Ability to edit with retention and watch-time in mind
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere
• Motion graphics experience with Adobe After Effects
• Reliable communication and consistent deadline adherence
• Color grading and sound design skills
• Experience collaborating with YouTube creators
