Job summary

Sonic Electronix is seeking a creative Video Editor to join our marketing team. This remote, part-time role focuses on storytelling through high-energy videos of car audio and consumer electronics.

You will master Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, and Illustrator while leveraging AI to speed production and elevate quality. A strong demo reel is required and prior e-commerce or automotive content is a plus.

Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
• Strong command of the Adobe Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator) to build graphics from scratch.
• Demonstrated experience using AI generative tools to create or enhance video/image assets.
• A passion for car audio, amplifiers, subwoofers, and consumer tech.
• A strong demo reel showcasing clean cuts, modern transitions, and custom motion graphics.

Responsibilities

• End-to-End Editing: Edit long-form YouTube reviews, snappy social media ads (TikTok/Reels), and polished product demonstrations.
• Motion Graphics: Design and integrate lower thirds, call-to-outs, and data visualizations with After Effects.
• AI Integration: Use AI tools to generate assets, enhance footage, or streamline tasks.
• Graphic Design: Create thumbnails and overlays to maintain brand consistency.
• Audio Sweetening: Improve sound quality with leveling and noise reduction.
