OpenTrain is seeking a Venture Capital AI Training Associate to create and review AI training data that reflects real VC workflows. You will translate investment analysis into high-quality tasks and ensure outputs reflect sound VC judgment.

You will design tasks covering deal screening, market sizing, and competitive analysis, while validating projections and scenario analyses for early-stage and growth startups.

Qualifications

Three to six+ years in venture capital, growth equity, or startup operations with deal evaluation exposure.
Experience drafting investment committee memorandums and performing partner-level diligence preferred.
Demonstrated TAM/SAM/SOM market sizing, founder assessment, and competitive landscape analysis.

Responsibilities

Design, review, and refine AI training tasks based on VC workflows and investment analysis.
Analyze startups across financials, product-market fit, opportunities, and competition.
Construct and interpret financial projections, cap tables, and scenario analyses for early-stage companies.
Evaluate AI outputs for accurate pattern matching, realistic market sizing, and venture judgment.
