Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group (CSAA IG) invites a seasoned Third Party Vendor Risk Management Specialist to join our remote team supporting suppliers across the United States. You will assess vendor risk, perform due diligence, and drive mitigation plans in a regulated, insurance-focused environment.

You will partner with Legal and Procurement, prepare executive reports, and ensure compliance with evolving regulations.

Qualifications

Related bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6+ years of related experience including at least 4+ years in Third Party Risk Management or information security.
Self-directed, able to work independently and in a team.
Strong communication and relationship-building with internal partners.
Organizational skills to manage many simultaneous assessments.
Knowledge of third‑party risk governance, policies and structures.
Understanding of applicable legal and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third‑party relationships across multiple risk domains.
Perform due diligence on third‑party suppliers to meet standards and regulatory requirements.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and controls.
Collaborate with Legal and Procurement to include risk provisions in contracts.
Prepare and present risk reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Stay updated on laws, regulations and best practices relevant to third‑party risk.
