Job summary

CSAA Insurance Group is hiring a Third Party Vendor Risk Management Specialist to assess and mitigate risks from suppliers across multiple domains. You will profile suppliers, perform due diligence, develop risk controls, and collaborate with Legal and Procurement to secure contract language.

The role emphasizes reporting to senior management and maintaining regulatory compliance in a remote, nationwide setting.

Qualifications

• A related bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 6+ years of related experience including a minimum of 4+ years in Third Party Risk Management or information security is required.
• Self-directed, able to work independently, as well as within a team.
• Communication skills and relationship building with internal business partners.
• Organizational skills to manage a high volume of simultaneous assessments.

Responsibilities

• Risk Assessment: Conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third-party relationships.
• Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on third-party suppliers.
• Risk Mitigation: Develop and implement risk controls to minimize exposure.
• Contract Review: Collaborate with Legal and Procurement for contract language.
• Reporting and Communication: Present reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Regulatory Compliance: Stay updated on laws and best practices.
• Training and Awareness: Deliver training on third-party risk management.
• Support efforts with senior executives to reduce vendor risk portfolio.
