Job summary

First Business Bank is seeking a Vendor & Procurement Manager to oversee vendor relationships, drive strategic sourcing, and manage third-party risk. Reporting to the Chief Risk Officer, you will partner with Finance, Legal, IT, and operations to optimize spend, control costs, and improve procurement processes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in procurement, supplier management, and negotiations, with advanced Excel skills and the ability to communicate effectively with executives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supplier management.
• Experience leading complex sourcing initiatives and negotiations.
• Ability to analyze spend, budgets, and supplier performance.
• Strong written and verbal communication with executives or boards.

Responsibilities

• Vendor Management & Strategic Sourcing: manage key vendor relationships, coordinate renewals, identify cost-saving opportunities, monitor performance, and align services with business needs.
• Third-Party Risk & Compliance: oversee onboarding, due diligence, risk assessments, and audits to ensure policy compliance.
• Procurement Operations: support processes, requests, approvals, contract administration, and spend tracking with Finance.
• Reporting & Analytics: create reports on spend, contract status, supplier performance, and procurement activity; provide insights for decisions.
