Qualifications

• 5+ years in purchasing or contracting with PM experience or clinical setting with medical product proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or 3 additional years of relevant experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with staff and vendors.
• Analytical skills for problem solving, contract and financial analysis.
• Understanding of medical terminology and medical supply product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical and data-driven recommendations to Value Analysis Committees.
• Collaborate with sourcing/contracting to achieve best value for OHSU.
• Document savings generated from cost-saving initiatives.
• Participate in achieving annual healthcare savings goal (~$5,000,000).
• Lead end-to-end project plans and ensure on-time delivery.
