Job summary

PSC Biotech® Corporation is seeking an entry-level Validation Engineer I to support system validation and product release processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements. This is a remote position offering exposure to validation documentation and CSV activities.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline, a passion for technology, and experience with system/software testing in the life science industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering discipline required.
• Entry-level position; internship or project experience in computer systems/software testing and validation preferred.
• Familiar with validation processes and risk-based approaches.
• Knowledge of clinical trial software is preferred.
• Strong technical writing and lifecycle documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external clients to ensure alignment on project requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing to ensure system functionality and reliability using risk-based validation.
• Support planning, development, and implementation of computer systems validation documentation.
• Write and execute validation documents including requirements specs, test scripts, summaries, and trace matrices.
• Initiate and oversee CSV change control requests and associated validation documentation.
• Identify and troubleshoot risks and implement effective solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Participate in team meetings and provide project progress updates.
• Additional responsibilities as required.
